Corners–and Their Meandering Thoughts

The Corner in your Bedroom …

Unassuming …

Three corners coming together … the walls meeting the floor ….

Or the walls meeting the ceiling …

Watchful … and unassuming

Empty …

The small dark corner in your bedroom hidden in the shadow….

What stories could it tell …

What secrets does it keep?

Dirty laundry … dust … cobwebs …

I don’t know about you … but I’m grateful dark, lonely corners of my room can’t speak.

Muted … in silence since corners don’t speak, they can tell you no secrets and they can tell you no lies.

But what if they did?
