I have a friend who’s name is Earl
A cheeky bloke at that.
Always grinning behind his cup
With a smart remark or cunning fact
You’ll always find him lounging
In a spot of sunny comfort
Reading up on life’s new woes
His cup of Tea in concert
Now you may have guessed it
I suppose it’s hard to hide
That Earl is rather boring
When it’s cold and grey outside
Still, it’s rare to see him bleak
He’s a perpetual sun of joy
Just so long as he has his tea
You’ll enjoy his subtle ploys
